Eight students from Cedarville University were selected to participate in the annual Ohio Private Colleges Instrumental Conductors Association (OPCICA) Honors Band and Honors Jazz Band concerts that were held January 20-21 at Severance Hall, home of the Cleveland Orchestra. Each year, OPCICA selects top instrumentalists from nearly 50 Ohio private colleges to engage in a weekend of challenging musical performance. Students Keith Flentge, guitarist, and Tim Sutton, saxophonist, participated in the OPCICA Honors Jazz Band. Ken Borror, clarinetist; Brian Gornick, trumpeter; LeeAnn Senseney, saxophonist; Kristen Small, bass clarinetist; Lynette Wagner, flautist; and Jennifer Weaver, French horn player, were selected to play in the Honors Concert Band.
