Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University will host its second annual Community Christmas celebration Sunday, Dec. 2. The celebration will include performances by many of the University choral and instrumental groups, as well as several music faculty members.
Musical selections will include the symphonic band performing Leroy Anderson's "Christmas Festival" and the Concert Chorale performing "The Little Drummer Boy." Congregational singing of "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing," "Joy to the World," and the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's MESSIAH, is also slated.
The celebration will begin at 6 p.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the University music department at 937-766-7728.
