Bastress Joins University Staff

Cedarville, Ohio—David Bastress has joined the department of communication arts at Cedarville University. His responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing the audio and visual equipment used by the department and the campus radio station, U99.5. Prior to joining the Cedarville staff, Bastress worked for 10 years as an engineer, manufacturing communication antennas. For 13 years he worked as a chief engineer for several radio stations including WEEC (Springfield, Ohio), WFCJ (Dayton, Ohio), KUOA/KMCK (Siloam Springs, Ark.), and WIVV (Vieques, Puerto Rico). Bastress graduated from Practical Bible Training School in 1970 and from John Brown University in 1980. "I like working with young people and, in my small way, helping to train the next generation of Christian broadcasters and media people," said Bastress.
