Cedarville Announces Promotions and Tenure

Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University recently announced promotions and/or the granting of tenure for 11 faculty members. The promotions and tenure will go into effect in August. Those receiving promotions are Dr. Timothy Dewhurst, to professor of mechanical engineering; Dr. Bert Wheeler, to professor of economics; Dr. Donald Deardorff, to associate professor of English; Dr. Dali Luo, to associate professor of mathematics; Dr. Mark McClain, to associate professor of chemistry; Joy Fagan, to assistant professor of Bible; Jay Kinsinger, to assistant professor of mechanical engineering; Mischelle McIntosh, to assistant professor of communication arts; Cynthia Messer, to assistant professor of English; and Matthew Moore, to assistant professor of communication arts. Dr. Jeffrey Shortt (associate professor of electrical engineering), Deardorff, Luo, and McClain received tenure.
