XIONG COMPLETES DOCTORATE
Cedarville, Ohio-Jintao Xiong, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at Cedarville University, recently completed his Ph.D. studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst by successfully defending his dissertation, "On Rational Approximation and Its Applications."
His dissertation focused on performance analysis and algorithm development in computer networking. "We have all witnessed how the Internet has changed our way of life. I believe networking-related research is both promising and interesting," said Xiong.
In addition to his doctoral degree, Xiong holds a B.S.E.E. from Xi'an Jiaotong University and a M.S. from South China University of Technology. He resides in Xenia with his wife, Jen-Yi Wang, and their two sons, Austin and Justin.
