CU Piano Ensemble to Perform Rachmaninoff Works

Cedarville, Ohio—The Cedarville University Piano Ensemble will perform a concert of works by Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff on Tuesday, Nov. 18. The concert begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville campus. Rachmaninoff`s "Pieces for One Piano, Four Hands" and "Pieces for Two Pianos, Four Hands" will be on the program. In addition, the concert will include the area premier of the "Russian Rhapsody." The ensemble is directed by Dr. John Mortensen, a Cedarville resident and associate professor of piano at Cedarville University. Admission is free and the public is invited.
