Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University will present the talents of its brass choir in a diverse and unique concert on Monday, March 17 at 7 p.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center. The brass choir`s repertoire will balance the classical music of Sergei Prokofiev and Brian Balmages with hymns written and arranged especially for the brass choir by composers James Curnow, Stephen Winteregg, and Walt Oliver. The 20 members of the brass choir were selected by special audition and are conducted by Charles Pagnard, professor of music and Dayton Philharmonic member. The brass choir has been invited on a concert tour of Greece in 2004 in preparation for the Olympics that will be held that year in Athens. Concert admission is free and the public is invited.
