Cedarville University Student to Give Senior Voice Recital

Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University student Debbie Compton will present her senior voice recital on Thursday, Feb.13 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville University campus. A music education major, Compton will present various arrangements by Wolfgang Mozart, Joseph Szulc, Giacomo Puccini, Charles Gounod, and Georges Bizet among others. Compton will be accompanied by pianist Amy Reed, a Cedarville University senior. The daughter of Gary and Kathy Compton of Clarks Summit, Pa., Compton is a 1999 graduate of Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit. Compton has studied under Norman Campbell of Clarks Summit and Cedarville University Associate Professor of Vocal Music Dr. Mark Spencer. Recital admission is free.
