Cedarville, Ohio - Cedarville University's choral ensembles and symphonic band, as well as the University of Dayton Symphonic Wind Ensemble, will perform on Friday, Nov. 14 as part of the Cedarville Grandparents Day celebration. These concerts will be held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center.
The choral ensembles program will start at 3 p.m. and feature the women's choir (directed by Beth Cram Porter of Cedarville), Jubilaté (Roger O'Neel of Xenia), men's glee club and concert chorale (Lyle Anderson of Cedarville), and jazz singers (Laila Kteily O'Sullivan of Springfield). Instrumentalists and vocal soloists will be featured in combination with the choral selections.
The symphonic band, conducted by Michael P. DiCuirci of Xenia, and the University of Dayton Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Patrick Reynolds, will give a joint concert at 8 p.m. Their performances will include joint renditions of The Stars and Stripes Forever and America the Beautiful.
