Early Music Ensemble to Give Unique Concert

Cedarville, Ohio - The Wind in the Woods early music ensemble will give a concert titled Music of Shakespeare's Time on Monday, October 20. The concert will be held at 8 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville campus. Wind in the Woods specializes in Medieval and Renaissance music. Their concerts feature unique instruments, such as the crumhorns, lute, viol, and recorders. This particular concert will also feature vocalists as well as narrative about the music and history of the times. Margaret Erin of Beavercreek is the founder and director of the group. Other members include Jean Hutslar of Columbus, Charles Larkowski of Fairborn, Meggie Lakovic of Dayton, Mike Mattimore of Springfield, Lawrence Pitzer of Springfield, and Amy Vauble of Beavercreek.
