Cedarville, Ohio-Hundreds of junior high students are planning to attend CedarMania, an all-night event on the campus of Cedarville University. CedarMania is designed to challenge junior high students spiritually, provide them with fun activities, and acquaint them with the University. It will take place from Friday night, February 28 through Saturday morning, March 1.
The event will include praise and worship, a scavenger hunt, midnight pizza party, crazy games, and one-on-one time with University students. CedarMania will conclude with a breakfast buffet at 6 a.m.
The speaker for the event will be Paul Alexander, the creator and leader of dv8, an innovative youth program operating out of Far Hills Community Church in Dayton, Ohio. The dv8 ministry uses media, drama, music, and sermons to present the gospel and address unique issues students are facing.
Alexander has ministered to students for the past seven years. He has been a featured speaker at youth events across the country and has led numerous mission trips both nationally and internationally.
