Dr. Dolphus Weary, executive director of Mission Mississippi, called for racial reconciliation as a legacy to the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Cedarville University observance of Martin Luther King Day on Monday. "We must learn to embrace one another and to love one another, not just tolerate one another," Weary said. Weary's organization, based in Jackson, Miss., promotes reconciliation among people of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds through social interaction, community involvement, and interpersonal communication forums.
