CU Faculty Member to Give Guitar Performance

Cedarville, Ohio—Lawrence Pitzer will present a guitar recital titled "Transcriptions, Arrangements, and Settings for Guitar of Twentieth Century Spanish Music" on Monday, Mar. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of Cedarville University`s Dixon Ministry Center. The recital will feature the music of Enrique Granados and Isaac Albeniz. Pitzer is an adjunct professor at Cedarville University. He holds a B.F.A. from Miami University and has performed at a variety of master classes on guitar, lute, and recorders. Pitzer has taught classical guitar privately and at area universities such as Wittenberg, Wright State, Antioch, and Urbana since 1970. He is a Springfield resident.
