Cedarville, OhioDr. Franco Gandolfi, Cedarville University Professor of International Business, has been named to the shortlist judging panel for the Australian Human Resources (HR) 2004 Awards.
Gandolfi, a former resident of Narrabeen, Australia, joined the Cedarville faculty this fall. He stated, "In this new capacity, I feel privileged to be able to represent Cedarville University and greatly honored to work with some of the world`s finest HR authorities. The Australian HR Awards are very significant and recognize excellence across the spectrum of HR on an international scale."
As a shortlist panel member, Gandolfi will work with leading Australian HR academics and consultants to determine which candidates reach the final selection judging panel. More information about the Australian HR 2004 Awards is available at www.hrawards.com.au.
Gandolfi`s own HR background includes consultation to finance, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries in Australia and Switzerland; research published in reputable HR journals; speaking engagements at international HR conferences; and a dissertation on the importance of training and development during corporate downsizing. He currently resides in Cedarville.
