Cedarville, OhioViolinist Stacey Woolley will present a recital on Monday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of Cedarville University`s Dixon Ministry Center.
The program will feature works by J.S. Bach and Miklòs Ròzsa. Between pieces Woolley will give a brief presentation on Ròzsa, the Hungarian-born composer who became one of the first great film composers.
Woolley is an adjunct professor of violin at Cedarville University. A Cincinnati resident, he has also been a violinist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra since 1989 and was a member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra from 1984-1989. Woolley also served as adjunct professor of violin at Cincinnati`s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and Miami University of Ohio. He holds a bachelor of music degree from CCM.
