Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville resident Kirsten Gibbs has been appointed new dean of students at Cedarville University, effective immediately. She had previously served as associate dean of students. Dr. Carl Ruby, vice president for student life, said, "Having worked closely with Kirsten for many years I have had the opportunity to view firsthand her love for our students and her commitment to their success academically and spiritually. The core values of the Student Life Division are Love for God, Love for Neighbors, Excellence in Effort, and Integrity in Conduct. Kirsten models these values, and I am very pleased that she has agreed to assume leadership in this area." Gibbs came to Cedarville in 1993. She holds a B.A. from Cedarville and an M.S.A. from Central Michigan University. -30-
