Cedarville University Student To Give Senior Trombone Recital

Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University student Christine Newhard will present her senior trombone recital on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville University campus. A music education major, Newhard will present various arrangements by Mozart, Bach, Schubert, Debussy, and others. The daughter of Charles and Pauline Newhard of Sidney, Newhard is a 2000 graduate of Sidney High School. Newhard has studied under Tim Anderson, principal trombonist of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Andrew Millat, principal trombonist of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
