Cedarville University to Host Community Christmas Celebration

Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University will host its fifth annual Community Christmas celebration Sunday, Dec. 5. The evening will include performances by University music ensembles and faculty, including the Cedarville University Jazz Singers, Jazz Band, Women`s Choir, Concert Chorale, Brass Choir, Symphonic Band, and vocalists Beth Cram Porter and Mark Spencer. Special features of the program will be a harp ensemble performance, Irish and Scottish Christmas music by The Demerits, carols by the audience, and the reading of the Christmas story by Professor Edward Spencer. The program will conclude with everyone singing the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel`s MESSIAH. The celebration will begin at 6 p.m. in the University`s Dixon Ministry Center.
