Cedarville, Ohio - Cedarville University's orchestra will be in concert Monday, April 19 at 7 p.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville University campus. The evening will include the final round of the University's annual Concerto Competition. Finalists Rachel Dremann (piano), Amanda Lucarini (voice), and Rachel Talbott (violin) will perform with the orchestra.
The Concerto Competition is open to all Cedarville University music majors at the University. Three finalists are chosen by a faculty committee; the three then perform with the orchestra as a panel of visiting professional musicians determines their final awards placement. The results will be announced before the end of the concert.
Dremann, a freshman from Edelstein, Ill., is majoring in keyboard pedagogy.
Lucarini is a junior music education major from Parker, Colo. Talbott, a Paradise, Pa., native, is a sophomore music performance major.
