Pianist John Mortensen in Concert

Cedarville, Ohio—Pianist John Mortensen will give a piano recital on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of Cedarville University`s Dixon Ministry Center. Mortensen`s performance will include Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach, Suite Bergamasque by Debussy, and assorted preludes by Rachmaninoff. Mortensen is an associate professor of piano at Cedarville University. He holds a B.M.A. from the University of Michigan and a M.M. and D.M.A. from the University of Maryland. A Cedarville resident, Mortensen has studied under Anne Koscielny and Raymond Hanson. The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, call 937-766-7734. -30-
