Radio Host and Urban Family Advocate to Speak at Cedarville University

Cedarville, Ohio—Dr. Crawford Loritts Jr., urban family advocate and host of the "Living a Legacy®" daily radio program, will speak at Cedarville University on Tuesday, Dec. 7. His presentation begins at 10 a.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel of Cedarville University`s Dixon Ministry Center. Loritts is currently an associate director of U.S. ministries under Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC). Through CCC and his "Living a Legacy®" radio program, he encourages others to pursue a life that counts for Christ, take part in missions work, and live out God`s plan for the family. Loritts` vocational ministry service began with the American Missionary Fellowship and in planting churches with Black Evangelistic Enterprise. In 1978, he joined the staff of CCC. In 1982, Loritts founded a new ministry of CCC, called Here`s Life Black America (now known as Legacy). The ministry is a catalyst in helping to rebuild and restore strong, godly families in urban America. As the national director of Legacy, Loritts was a key partner in arranging missions, leadership, and family conferences around the nation. Loritts later became national director of the Church Resource Group (CRG), a division of CCC encompassing seven other ministries. A popular speaker, Loritts has written the books "A Passionate Commitment: Recapturing Your Sense of Purpose," "Never Walk Away," "Make It Home Before Dark: God`s Call To Holiness In Our Walk With Him," and "Lessons From A Life Coach." He holds a doctor of divinity degree from Biola University, a doctor of sacred theology degree from Philadelphia Biblical University, and a doctor of letters degree from Trinity International University.
