SBC Evangelism Celebration to Feature Popular Speakers

Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University will host the 2004 Spring Pastors Summit/Evangelism Celebration "Return to Holiness" March 4-5. A special invitation is extended to pastors and ministry leaders, but the general public is also welcome. This free event is sponsored by the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and Cedarville University. Speakers will include Dr. Henry Blackaby, author of Experiencing God; Dr. Richard Blackaby, president of Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary; Dr. Alistair Begg, senior pastor of Parkside Church and host of the Truth for Life radio program; Dr. Jerry Falwell, founder and chancellor of Liberty University; and Dr. Ken Hemphill, author and national strategist for the Empowering Kingdom Growth initiative for the Southern Baptist Convention. Music will be led by Charles Billingsley, musical artist-in-residence at Liberty University; and Larnelle Harris, five-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist. The conference will take place 1:45 p.m.-9:15 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 4 (supper is on your own) and from 9 a.m.-9:15 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 5. Lunch is available on March 5 for an advance registration fee of $10. Lunch reservations must be made by Wednesday, Feb. 25. Friday`s lunch program, sponsored by Athletes in Action, will feature Craig Krenzel, quarterback of the 2002 Ohio State Buckeyes National Championship team, as the speaker.
