The United States Air Force Band of Flight Concert Band will perform in the Cedarville University Christmas Chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. The concert will be held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center on the Cedarville campus.
Since first activated at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1942, the Band of Flight has represented the Air Force throughout the Midwest. The Concert Band is the largest ensemble within the Band of Flight and consists of 45 active-duty musicians. The Band was twice selected by the John Philip Sousa Foundation to receive the Colonel George S. Howard Citation of Musical Excellence for Military Concert Bands.
