Cedarville, Ohio—Junior high, senior high, and college students will come together for a weekend of heartfelt worship, moving drama, humorous skits, and passionate teaching at the ninth annual Revolution@Blowout at Cedarville University. More than 3,400 youth are expected to gather at Cedarville`s Dixon Ministry Center October 29-30 for the Revolution@Blowout. This high-energy event, held from 9 p.m. Friday night to 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening, features Ken Rudolph, a sought-after youth speaker, and Dannah Gresh, a nationally-known speaker on sexual purity. Worship will be led by singer Joel Engle and his band, R81, as well as the Dave Parker Band. Drama and skits will be provided by Cedarville University`s Lifeline Players and Steve Wood, assistant technical director/production manager. Last year`s Revolution@Blowout attracted 3,400 young people. Bryan Waggoner, the director of Revolution@Blowout, shared, "Each year, students mention that they loved the music and had a great time, but the greatest impact was the preaching and the way the Lord worked in their lives. Youth leaders from other churches have given testimony to lasting changes in the lives of their teens as well." This event is co-sponsored by Cedarville University and Bethesda Baptist Church of Brownsburg, Ind. The event`s mission is to encourage students and adult leaders to make a revolution in their lives; have a passion, love, and intimacy for God; and stand courageously for Christ.
