Cedarville, Ohio-The play "Bang Bang You're Dead" will be presented by Cedarville University's NeXtage student production company Thursday, November 17 through Saturday, November 19. Performances begin at 8 p.m. each night in Cedarville's Alford Auditorium. "Bang Bang You're Dead" delves into the mind of Josh, a high school student who has killed his parents and five of his peers. The questioning voices of his victims, as well as various others in Josh's life, help Josh to realize the consequences of his actions. Crystal Missler, director of the play, explained, "As a cast and crew we hope that his play will not only promote awareness of school violence but that our audiences will question their own choices in life and how those choices affect us and those we love for the rest of our lives." The student production company NeXtage is sponsored by Alpha Beta Phi, the Cedarville university chapter of the national honorary theatre organization Alpha Psi Omega. NeXtage uses its performances to initiate discussion of controversial ideas and broaden audience perspective. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. All profits will be donated to Cedarville's Disaster Relief Fund (
