Cedarville, OhioThe Cedarville University Department of Psychology will host the 19th Annual Ohio Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference (OUPRC) on Saturday, April 16. Sponsored by a consortium of Ohio colleges and universities, the conference will give undergraduate psychology students the opportunity to present their original, empirical research findings to faculty and other students in a public forum.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. Robert S. Feldman, professor of psychology and director of undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Feldman will speak on "Deception and Lying in Everyday Living." His appearance is made possible by a grant from McGraw-Hill.
The conference runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Attendance is free for those who wish to observe or participate; however, registration is required. The deadline for paper submissions is April 1; the registration deadline is April 8.
