Cedarville Debate and Forensics Teams Take First Place Grand Champion Award at Tournament

Cedarville, Ohio-The Cedarville University Debate and Forensics teams won the first place grand champion sweepstakes award at the Berea College John G. Fee Invitational and Cumberland College Curtis Brown Invitational I.E. Swing in Berea, Ky, held on Nov. 11-12. The teams topped 21 other colleges and universities, including the nationally recognized schools of Western Kentucky University, Carson-Newman College, and Belmont University. The debate team is coached by Xenia resident Dr. Rebecca Sietman, who is an assistant professor of communication arts. The forensics team is coached by Cedarville resident Matthew Moore, who is an assistant professor of communication arts.
