Cedarville, Ohio"Diabetes and Fad Diets: Newest Research" is the topic of a free seminar to be offered at Cedarville University on Thursday, Feb. 10. This noon-1 p.m. discussion will include information about diabetes risk, prevention, and management and the relationship of diabetes to popular fad diets. The seminar will be in Room 381 of Cedarville`s Engineering, Nursing, and Science Building.
Ellen Thompson will lead the session. A registered dietician, Thompson owns a consulting business that plans and oversees meals in several assisted living facilities.
"Diabetes and Fad Diets: Newest Research" is sponsored by the Wellness Center a branch of Cedarville University`s department of nursing. The Wellness Center offers seminars to the public throughout the year on topics such as cancer prevention, stress reduction, diet, and fitness training.
