Cedarville University to Host Awana Games

Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University will host the Miami Valley Awana Games Saturday, March 5 at 10 a.m. in the Callan Athletic Center on the Cedarville campus. More than 700 K-6 children from Miami Valley churches are expected to attend; most are from Clark, Greene, and Montgomery counties. The Games include running races, balloon games, tug of war, and relays. Kindergarten-2nd grade activities begin at 10 a.m.; 3rd-6th grade games begin at 1 p.m. Awana is an international, Bible-centered youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs and programs for pre-schoolers through high schoolers. The organization`s activities include fun and competitive games, a message that focuses on the gospel and applying God`s Word to daily life, memorizing Bible verses, singing, and earning awards.
