Cedarville, Ohio-A wide variety of artistic expressions will be displayed on Feb. 20-24 in the lower level of Cedarville University`s Stevens Student Center (SSC). The displays are a part of the annual Art Week, sponsored by Cedarville`s Student Government Association (SGA).
"I am always astounded at the range of talents, skills, and gifts Cedarville students possess," said SGA Activities Board Director Holly Luiken. "Art Week gives [students] a chance to share them with the entire campus." The purpose of Art Week is three-fold in that it seeks to exhibit various works of art, serves as outlet for cultural enjoyment, all the while exemplifying the gifts and talents that many students are blessed with.
Exhibits will include poetry, writings, music, paintings, photography, along with other various forms of art.
Art Week is free and open to the public. Doors are open from 6:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. For more information, call Luiken at 937-766-4492.
