Cedarville, Ohio-The Bible says, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15). With that in mind, the Beautiful Feet Women's Conference is designed to help women be the bearers of the Good News - the gospel of Jesus Christ - to their families, communities, cities, and world.
The conference will be held at Cedarville University Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. on Saturday. The event is sponsored by the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio.
Conference attendees will have a chance to hear from keynote speaker Mary Kassian (an internationally known speaker, Bible teacher, and author) and to participate in worship led by award-winning singer Babbie Mason. Additional speakers include Jaye Martin (director of women and evangelism for the North American Mission Board), Lori Beckler (founder and director of Heritage Keepers generational ministry), and Lynn Reece (former director of women's ministry at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky.).
Along with the keynote presentations, women can choose from a variety of breakout sessions aptly categorized as “Jerusalem,” “Judea,” “Samaria,” and the “Uttermost Parts of the Earth.” These classes include topics such as hospitality, reaching single moms, generational ministry, sports evangelism, outreach to victims of violence, support for pregnant women, and family vacation short-term missions opportunities.
In addition, a HeartCall pre-conference training session begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 2 and is available at no extra charge (due to scholarships provided by the North American Mission Board). This session will offer training and networking for passionate women who want to bring Christ to the world.
Cost for the Beautiful Feet Conference, including lunch on Saturday, is $35. Free childcare is available for children ages five and under. The registration deadline is Monday, May 22, so don't delay! To register or for more information, visit www.cedarville.edu/beautifulfeet
