CU Hosts 3Story Evangelism Training Conference

by Public Relations Office - Cedarville, OH

December 15, 2006

Cedarville, Ohio-A “natural, friendly, and freeing” way to share the gospel is what participants will learn during the 3Story Evangelism Training conference, hosted by Cedarville University on Saturday, Jan. 13.

The theme of 3Story’s message is that three different stories are involved in helping someone understand the gospel: my story, their story, and God’s story. By connecting those stories, Christians can share their faith in authentic, non-formulaic ways. 3Story is a ministry of Youth for Christ, an organization dedicated to giving every person around the world the opportunity to make an informed decision to follow Jesus Christ.

Nina Edwards and Ali King, evangelism trainers with Youth for Christ, will be leading the conference in topics such as “The Heart and Soul of 3Story,” “Train the Teachers,” and “My Story to God’s Story.”

Conference registration is $30, and includes all fees and materials. The deadline for registration is January 8. The event will begin at 8:15 a.m. and conclude at 6:30 p.m.
