CU Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Jay Kinsinger and his wife, Andrea, took their family on a unique 220-mile bike riding vacation earlier this summer. The story of their trip caught the attention of Crown Financial Ministries for its "How I Spent My Summer Vacation!" contest.

The Kinsinger entry was one of five (out of 500 entries) to be chosen by Crown for radio broadcast on their program Money Matters. Crown spokesperson Jim Henry said Jay's story was "chosen because of family fun and frugality."
