Cedarville Forensics Team Takes First Place at Tournament

Cedarville, Ohio—The Cedarville University Forensics Team took the first place award at the 33rd Annual Tower Invitational hosted by Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich., on Jan. 27-28. The team topped 22 other colleges and universities, including the nationally recognized teams of Western Kentucky University, Berry College, and Ball State University. Cedarville University junior Karen Williams took the second place award in the Pentathlon category, which represents the best speakers in five events. The forensics team is coached by Cedarville residents Matthew Moore and Derrick Green, both assistant professors of communication arts.
