Cedarville University Chancellor to Speak at Interfaith Meeting

Dr. Paul Dixon, chancellor of Cedarville University, will speak at the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Springfield and Clark County annual meeting on Wednesday, March 1. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at Wittenberg University's Shouvlin Center in Room 105, located at 200 West Ward St., in Springfield. The meeting is free and open to the public. Cedarville, Ohio-Dr. Paul Dixon, chancellor of Cedarville University, will speak at the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Springfield and Clark County annual meeting on Wednesday, March 1. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Wittenberg University's Shouvlin Center in Room 105, located at 200 West Ward St., in Springfield.

Dixon is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University and holds a doctorate in education from the University of Cincinnati. He served as president of Cedarville University for 25 years and became chancellor in 2003. During his tenure as president, enrollment increased by more than 150 percent, the faculty grew threefold, and the University added more than $100 million in facilities. For many years Dixon has been a popular speaker for professional sports chapel programs, Bible conferences, church services, and school events.
