Cedarville University to Host Accomplished Pianist

Cedarville, Ohio- Robert Thomas, accomplished pianist and professor of piano at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, will perform at Cedarville University on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. The concert will take place in the Recital Hall of Cedarville University`s Dixon Ministry Center. His performance will feature pieces by Haydn and Schubert. Thomas has also played many well known pieces for renowned American opera composers as well as the world premiere of the solo work "Sumi" by Prix-de-Rome winning composer William Neil. Thomas` experience includes extensive performances in Europe and the United States. The European recitals feature performances in London, Manchester, York, Bath, Salzburg, Baden-Baden, Stuttgart, and Luxembourg. He has also performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Xavier University Classical Piano Series in Cincinnati. This concert is free and open to the public.
