Cedarville, Ohio- Mikhail Petukhov, experienced world performer, pianist, composer, and professor at the Moscow State Conservatory will perform at Cedarville University on Thursday, Apr. 27 at 7 p.m. The concert will take place in the Recital Hall of Cedarville University’s Dixon Ministry Center.
Petukhov began performing at the age of 10, and many of the pieces he played were of his own composition. He studied further at the Kiev Special Music School which led to his winning the Leipzig fourth International Bach Piano Competition in 1972. He went on to study with distinguished pianists such as Tatiana Nikolayeva. Petukhov is currently scheduled to perform internationally in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America with many distinguished ensembles.
