Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University`s theatre program will present Joseph Kesserling`s classic American comedy Arsenic and Old Lace on January 27-28 and February 2-4. The play will be presented in Cedarville University`s Stevens Student Center Theater. One of the most produced Broadway plays, Arsenic and Old Lace is the tale of two elderly sisters who make it their mission to help lonely men escape a life of unhappiness by poisoning them. Because of the well-developed characters, creativity, and zaniness of the story, Director Dr. David Robey remarked, "[The] audience will long remember the fun of this production." Robey, a Cedarville resident, is a professor of communication arts. Nightly performances will be held at 8 p.m. with additional matinees on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. Cost is $11 for adults and $7 for students. There is a $1 discount if paying by cash or check. For more information, call 937-766-4491 or 1-800-860-7625.
