Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University's women's choir, symphonic band, concert chorale, and jazz band will present a pops concert on Friday, March 31 at 8 p.m. in the University's Jeremiah Chapel.
The 50-voice women's choir will perform songs from 1930s radio shows, including "Yours," "Tea for Two," "What Is This Thing Called Love?," "Indian Love Call," and "Lullaby of Broadway." The symphonic band, composed of approximately 90 members, will play John Williams pieces made famous by the Star Wars movie trilogy. The 100 member Concert Chorale will be performing "Comedy Tonight," "All I Ask Of You," "Fly Me To The Moon," "For Good," and "William Tell Overture". The Jazz band will be performing "All of Me" and "Wind Beneath My Wings", featuring vocalist Robert Reid, "Being the Beguine" featuring clarinetist Dr. Bruce Curlette, and A Few Good Men.
