Symphonic Band and Brass Choir To Entertain Crowd at CU

Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University’s symphonic band and brass choir will present an array of selections during their concert on Thursday, Apr. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel of the University’s Dixon Ministry Center. The 90-member symphonic band will feature West Side Story selections, as well as Fantasia in G and Symphony by Shostakovich. The 15-member brass choir will feature Presto Babaro by Leonard Bernstein, Angel Voices by Robert Starer, and Sonata Pian’e Forte by Giovanni Gabrieli.

The symphonic band is directed by Xenia resident Michael DiCuirci, professor of music. Charles Pagnard, professor of music and Centerville resident, is the director of the brass choir.
