White House Rep to Help Cedarville University Celebrate 110th Commencement

Tim Goeglein, special assistant to the President of the United States and deputy director of the White House Office of Public Liaison, will deliver the commencement address for Cedarville University's 110th commencement on Saturday, May 6. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. in the University's Doden Field House.

Cedarville, Ohio-Tim Goeglein, special assistant to the President of the United States and deputy director of the White House Office of Public Liaison, will deliver the commencement address for Cedarville University's 110th commencement on Saturday, May 6. The ceremony to confer degrees upon 656 students begins at 10 a.m. in the University's Doden Field House.

A native of Indiana, Goeglein has worked in the public arena for 17 years, beginning as communications director and press secretary for U.S. Senator Dan Coats. Goeglein joined the Bush campaign in 2000 and, following the President's election, became part of the Bush-Cheney transition team and was commissioned to be part of the original White House staff.

A graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Goeglein and his family live in the Washington metropolitan area. “My most important roles in life are husband and father,” says Goeglein, “We are a family united by our faith, and our pride in this remarkable country.”
