Daniel Green ’80 returned to campus in the spring as a featured speaker in the department of business administration’s Distinguished Speaker Series.
An accounting and biblical studies major while at Cedarville, Dan is now regional vice president of land acquisition for KB Home in Florida, one of the nation’s largest homebuilding companies. As regional vice president, Dan oversees land operations in the state of Florida. He joined KB Home in 2003 as senior vice president of land for the Orlando Division, where he was responsible for land acquisition, planning, development, and government affairs.
Prior to KB, Dan spent 18 years in management roles with Richland Properties, an entrepreneurial real estate investment firm which develops master-planned communities in Florida, Texas, and California. His responsibilities at Richland ranged from controller to chief operating officer.
While at Cedarville, Dan told CU’s business seniors what they as Christians can expect personally when they enter the business world. To a broader audience, he explained his line of business and how he came to be where he is today.
Dan holds an MBA from Syracuse University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
