CU Announces Promotions and Tenure

Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University has announced promotions and/or the granting of tenure for 18 faculty members. The promotions and tenure will go into effect August of 2007.

Those receiving promotions are Carolyn Barnett, to assistant professor of nursing; Dr. Xidong Chen, to associate professor of physics; Jennifer Secor, to assistant professor of mathematics; Dr. Donald Grigorenko, to associate professor of Bible; Dr. Chu-Yu Huang, to associate professor of nursing; Julie Moore, to associate professor of English; Dr. David Rich, to associate professor of public administration; Dr. Luke Tse, to associate professor of psychology; Dr. Kevin Winslow, to associate professor of education; Michelle Wood, to associate professor of English; Dr. Thomas Hutchison, to professor of Christian education; Dr. Clinton Kohl, to professor of electrical engineering; Dr. Thomas Mach, to professor of history; Dr. Samuel SanGregory, to professor of electrical engineering; Dr. Jeffrey Shortt, to professor of electrical engineering; Dr. J. Murray Murdoch, to senior professor of history.

Tenure recipients were Chen, Dr. Charles Elliott (professor of communication arts), Grigorenko, Huang, Dr. Timothy Norman (professor of mechanical engineering), Rich, Tse, and Winslow.
