Cedarville, Ohio-The weather outside may be frightful, but not everyone is fortunate enough to have proper protection from the cold. With this in mind, students from two Cedarville University service organizations, Alpha Delta Omega (ADO) and Delta Omega Epsilon (DOE), recently joined forces to gather approximately 35 bags of donated winter clothing from the University community.

Students, faculty, and staff gave of their winter coats, gloves, scarves, and hats, among many other items that will benefit families in the surrounding area. These donations were given to the local Salvation Army.

ADO member Christina Taylor hopes the clothing drive will serve as a reminder to students of their responsibility to provide for the physical needs of others, as well as the spiritual needs. “It's good to know that one simple act of giving can make a real difference in someone else's life,” she said.
