Cedarville, Ohio-Cedarville University will host approximately 2,000 people at its biannual Junior Jam event on Saturday, Apr. 14. Guests are expected from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky and will include about 1,600 third through sixth-graders and hundreds of adult sponsors.
This year’s theme is “Secret of the Sphinx: A Dig for the Truth.” The day’s lessons are related to looking back through history to discover truths from the life of Jesus. Activities include music, videos, hands-on activities, lunch, and one-on-one time with University students. Approximately 450 Cedarville University students will volunteer at Junior Jam by preparing events, serving lunch, and leading games and small groups.
Junior Jam also features workshops and training seminars for the adults accompanying the students. List of workshops
Registration starts at 9 a.m., followed by Junior Jam’s opening rally at 10 a.m. in
the University’s Dixon Ministry Center. After lunch and various activities through the afternoon, the program will conclude with a closing rally at 3 p.m. Additional information is available online
