Major General Loren M. Reno ’70 ’05H has passionately served God and country through the United States Air Force for more than 30 years. Recently he was reassigned to the prestigious role of commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base. Read the Air Force announcement of Loren’s new position.

Loren has said, “My days in the classrooms of Cedarville … certainly gave me the academic preparation I needed to succeed. But I learned so much more than academics while a student.” For example, he learned “that service before self was honorable and that doing what God led was better than doing what man expected,” a principle that has helped him to be salt and light in our world. Loren lives by the principles of Micah 6:8 — “… to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.”
