Professors and Students Present Research

by Public Relations Office—Cedarville, Ohio

April 14, 2008

Cedarville, Ohio—Cedarville University will host the 22nd annual Ohio Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference(OUPRC) on Saturday, April 19.

Sponsored by a consortium of Ohio colleges and universities, the OUPRC provides a platform for undergraduate students in Ohio to present their original research in a public forum. Senior psychology students from Cedarville will also participate in the conference as they deliver their capstone research projects.

OUPRC brings together some of the best undergraduate students from around the state, and many conference presentations represent potential published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Historically, student participation at OUPRC has also been a precursor to successful admission to competitive doctoral programs in psychology.

This year’s conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. Solomon Fulero-a lawyer, professor and licensed forensic psychologist-who will discuss his studies in eyewitness testimony and reliability.

Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend conference panels and the keynote address.
