Cedarville University invites the community to attend any of five music events to be held the week of November 8-14.

Nov. 10 at 4:30 p.m.:
The Instrumental Chamber Music Concert will feature student chamber groups under the direction of Charles Pagnard, the principal trumpet of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. Pagnard has been at Cedarville University since 1977.

Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.:
The University Orchestra will perform several selections including Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C minor and Haydn Trumpet Concerto in E flat Major, featuring Charles Pagnard, principal trumpet of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. Director Jun Kim is an award-winning violinist and internationally-recognized conductor, performing in Russia, Germany and Canada.

Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.:
At 4 p.m., an All-Choral Concert will feature the choral ensembles of the University. Jubilate, The ’Ville Singers, Women's Choir, Men’s Glee Club and Concert Chorale will sing traditional choral repertoire from across the centuries and will join forces at the end and perform “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

At 8 p.m., the symphonic band will perform selections by Seitz, Holsinger, Holst and Wagner under the direction of Michael DiCuirci, the co-chair of the 2010 Ohio Music Educators Association's Professional Conference. DiCuirci has been at Cedarville since 1979 and currently directs the Cedarville University Jazz Band.

Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.:
Join University music groups HeartSong, OneVoice and Jubilate in a powerful evening of praise and worship to the Lord.
