Cedarville, Ohio—The foot-tappin’ songs of yesteryear are back in Cedarville University’s Pops Concert. The popular music of the past and present are always a favorite at this annual event.
This year’s concert will feature a variety of ensembles and songs. The Men’s Glee Club will perform “Blue Moon,” “All My Loving” by the Beatles, “When I Fall in Love” and “Ring of Fire.” The ’Ville Singers will also make an appearance performing the much-loved barbershop quartet piece “Lida Rose” from “The Music Man.”
The choir Jubilate will sing a “West Side Story” medley that is sure to please the audience.
In addition to the choral ensembles, the Cedarville University Jazz Band will perform songs like “Angels Sing,” “Tangerine” and “Struttin’ With Some Barbecue.”
Rounding up the show, the orchestra will play “Gabriel’s Oboe” from the movie “Mission” and selections from the “Phantom of the Opera.”
