Choir Concert and Recital to be Held

On Tuesday, November 17, Cedarville University will present two free concerts. At 4:30 p.m., a general recital will feature a variety of instruments and musical genres. At 7 p.m., the Women’s Choir will perform selections by Schutz, Bach, Ramsey, Hatfield and Stroope. On Tuesday, November 17, Cedarville University will present two free concerts.

The general recital at 4:30 p.m. will feature a variety of vocal, violin, clarinet, trumpet and piano performances by the Cedarville Music students.

At 7 p.m., the Women’s Choir will present a concert titled “How Sweet the Sound.” It promises to be an eclectic evening, with musical selections dating from the 1600s up through today. The choir will perform pieces by Schütz, Bach, Ramsey, Hatfield and Stroope. Joining the choir will be Greg Martin, who will accompany the choir on bagpipes, and string students from the University Orchestra. Nationally recognized vocalist Beth Cram Porter will direct this concert.
